"I’ve not been home for so many years, and I did not regret being gone."
Who: [livejournal.com profile] singslikeagirl and [livejournal.com profile] breaksniceguys
What: Home sweet home?
Where: The Lima Bean, Lima Ohio
When: Tuesday afternoon
Rating: PG-13

Kurt was still having trouble believing he was actually abruptly dumped back into Lima. It was like some bad dream, or worse, like a total reversal of the Wizard of Oz, only this time instead of a cyclone landing him in Oz, it took him FROM the fairy tale and dumped him back into Ohio. And it one more person told him it would be okay and they could reschedule the wedding, he was seriously going to deck them. Couldn't they see that maybe - just maybe - he might be wondering just a tiny little bit about karma right now? A fucking cyclone hitting Manhattan for the first time in probably centuries, and it was on his wedding day. Not to mention the fact his husband suddenly had a distinct complex that New York was trying to kill him, and Kurt was running out reassurances.

But he now sat in the Lima Bean at a tiny table across from Holly and poked his stirrer into the foam of his chai latte. It was even weird being at the Lima Bean without Blaine, even after all this time, but Blaine hadn't been feeling well that morning and Kurt told him to stay in bed. Holly and Cameron had driven back to Lima with Kurt and Blaine, the other set of newlyweds figuring they had go back sooner rather than later anyway to figure out their own affairs now they were married and what better reason than an evacuation? It just all sucked, and Kurt couldn't figure out how to get out of his funk no matter what he did.

Yes, it's as painful and horrible as it sounds like it would be and in the middle of a cyclone OMFG, but...
