There had been some reluctance as to whether Sam should be released from hospital today or not, but luckily the fact Andrew was just two months out from being a fully qualified doctor tipped the scales just a little in the right direction. In fact, being released into Andrew's care seemed to be something Sam's doctors were pleased about and Andrew had to bite his tongue from offering a blunt 'No shit, Sherlock' to them. Sam was miserable in hospital. His condition was considered stable, but ever since that bad fit that landed him in hospital, had kept having smaller ones that they were working on medication regimes to correct. It could take weeks or months to find a cocktail that worked. Until then, Sam just needed to try and adjust the best he could. Physically, he was coping okay but it was wearing on him mentally being in there. Andrew took a stab in the dark to put his foot and insist Sam needed to be out of there to start healing mentally, then offered to take over his care for the next couple of weeks.
( The arrangement was okay, and Sam insisted he still wanted to go with their plans of going away for a few days. He needed out of the city... )
