Nick was lounging on he sofa flicking through an art magazine when he heard someone coming into the apartment up the hall. He honestly hadn't had the chance to directly, one-on-one catch up with Kurt since getting to New York, so it was a surprise to suddenly find themselves in the same room together. Kurt had an armful of shopping bag that he dumped by the door and then came into the room untying a silk scarf from around his neck.

"Hey, dude," Nick greeted him with a smile. "What's up? Busy day hitting he stores? You look wrecked."
