What: Falling to pieces
Where: Hummel-Anderson-Fabray Home
When: A good hour after THIS
Rating: Que sera sera
It was a shock to both Nick and Jeff to watch Blaine totally lose it in front of them. First the scary reaction when he was woken up from that nightmare. He had fallen asleep so quickly, and it was only a couple of minutes before he was thrashing around having the bad dream. Jeff and Nick had debated back and forth whether they should even wake him, but when Blaine started screaming Kurt's name, there was no question. But the completely strange and horrified way Blaine reacted, and then came back out of Kurt's room, Nick seriously thought for a horrible moment there that Kurt had died. He didn't know what the dream was about yet, but the heartbroken sobs when Blaine broke down, Nick thought Blaine had just found Kurt dead.
It took a little time for the aftermath to settle. Quinn stepped in and quickly made Kurt's tea to take it to him while Nick took control with Blaine, who was crying so desperately he ended up throwing up in the sink when he couldn't get himself back under control. That dream had to be something else. And now, Blaine was sitting in the living room, slumped over on the sofa with Jeff sitting beside him in concern rubbing his back. Nick brought a mug of black tea with honey and lemon through and then sat down on the coffee table in front of Blaine, and held it out for him, waiting for him to take it. He glanced at Jeff, who looked pale from shock himself and then tilted his head to see Blaine's face. "Are you feeling any better, buddy?" he asked in concern.
