Nick needed to know what was going on. Quinn knew that. Especially given that he and Lucas were friends, and if Lucas was acting weird toward Nick, he'd want to know why. It wasn't fair to keep it from him when he might very well be the father.
Her mind was still racing with the events of the past few days. Lucas's response had been difficult to deal with, though Quinn knew deep down, it made sense. Lucas was ambitious and fun-loving and dedicated to school and to getting to be a lawyer. Why on earth would he want something like this to hold him back? Especially when, at this point, he couldn't even be sure it was his problem.
As Quinn walked into the apartment from the market, she dropped her shoes and purse at the door, walking toward the kitchen with her groceries, and nearly bumped into Nick coming out of the kitchen with a cup of tea. Jeff wasn't with him, which, these days, was a bit of a rarity, so Quinn took advantage of the moment. "Hey, Nick? If you're not busy right now, there's something I kind of need to talk with you about."
